Our Church Leadership

The time for balance has come. The Lord has spoken. New Calvary Temple and New Life Mt. Calvary in Baltimore have merged to become New Calvary Life Temple.

It is our goal to reach excellence for the kingdom. By combining the churches we are empowered with greater potential. Our worship is better. Our attitude is better. We are determined to grow more quickly in membership. We are presenting new opportunities for the young and old to express themselves in the church. It is an exciting time.

Pastor Ardie Shaw will be at the helm of the ship as THE PASTOR. My role will be more and more advisory as I push him into the full succession of this ministry. Co-Pastor Deloris Henry and 1st Lady Vernette Shaw will work with us as the Leadership team. Our board members, officers, and ministry leaders will work with us as we complete our organization for improved ministry.

Now is the time to come and be a part of something great. It is the move of God in Baltimore. Ride the wave. We are please that Bishop Alfred A. Owens has come to launch us off in our first official service. As district and national leader a word from him will bless us in achievement efforts.

It gives me great pleasure and joy to be a part of God’s Perfect Will. I had no idea that God would bring New Calvary and New Life together to become one church. I am totally convinced that this merger is a move of God to bring about continuity and excellence in the Kingdom of God.

Mt. Calvary Holy Church is the only church I have known for 40 years. I was born, nurtured, and have matured in it. Bishop Harold Williams, Bishop Hansel Henry, and Bishop Alfred Owens have played a major role in my development. It is with great anticipation that 1st Lady Vernette Shaw and I look forward to working with Bishop Henry and Co-Pastor Deloris Henry.

We believe that this merger will create an atmosphere conducive for growth and bring about balance. We already have sensed an era of excitement from the members of New Calvary Life Temple. We are aware that there is much work to do; however, we strongly believe that “IT WILL WORK IF WE WORK IT”. I am a firm believer that anytime you are obedient to the will of God; you are setting yourself up for a tremendous blessing.

Subsequently, as we journey from Provision to Promise, allow me to thank God in advance for what he is going to do in the midst of this merger. I admonish every one to pray for us and get excited for the “BEST IS YET TO COME”!
